While it is the third largest island in the Mediterranean, when moving around Cyprus you'll get the feeling of proximity. Cyprus is an island of many faces, offering many things to see and do: from archeological and UNESCO world heritage sites to Blue Flag beaches and world-renowned diving spots, meaning there is something for everyone. All this in one island famous for its hospitable local population.
EuroVelo 8 does a tour of the island of Aphrodite but at the moment there is no official signposting in place. You can find more information about cycling in Cyprus and currently signposted routes on the Cyprus Tourism Organisation website.

Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is creating a national cycling network in Cyprus consisting of sign-posted routes in rural areas. A number of bike centres are available on the island offering rental services, route information, guide assistance and support. They can organise your journey to take you through a varied landscape combining mountain views, rugged coastlines, tranquil vineyards and olive groves and fascinating ancient ruins.
